A little information behind the company.

Stealth Bike Bags was founded by myself, Michael Trudgen, in mid 2014.  

I have been mountain biking for most of my life but recently discovered the joy of combining mountain biking and camping, known also as Bikepacking. I soon discovered the need for better methods for carrying my gear. I first made bags for myself and for friends, and then with designs tested and refined I decided to start selling them. 

New Zealand has some wonderful mountain bike tracks with more being made everyday. I thoroughly enjoy any form of adventure and hope to help you on your path to yours.

I produce the bags myself in Wellington, New Zealand. I currently have four specialized industrial sewing machines with countless other specialist tools which ensure a high quality product.  I source the majority of the materials used in production from NZ suppliers. Most of the bags are made out of 500D and 1000D Cordura Nylon fabric. This fabric has a PU waterproof coating on the inside and a DWR coating on the outside making it very weatherproof. If I need something to stay completely dry, I either use a dry bag or a rubbish bag as a liner, just as I do with my tramping pack.
