Bought these so that I could use my hardtail for weekend trips. Perfect lightweight solution that doesn’t interfere with your dropper post. Rock solid off-road too!
The Stealth Mountain Panniers are very well crafted and make a solid impression to me. They are easy to attach and show a snug fit to the Old Man Mountain Divide rack. I look forward to using them in the near future.
These panniers are great - simple, classic design, keep my bike looking balanced whilst providing enough space for all my sleeping gear, clothing & tent. Having a smaller framed bike left me with minimal options for saddle bags/rear rack options particularly given I do a lot of off road riding, but these panniers are on point and I’m looking forward to using them on a month long tour through the Australian High Country.
They are really well made ~ I was concerned about the velcro, but it’s super robust, and ensures the bags don’t budge, and made with high quality buckles etc - also having two panniers on my t-rack provides a tight, neat space between them for surplus food and water. Rate them highly.
These are great, allow me to carry enough but not too much, although can expand when I need extra food. They stay solidly in place and are quiet and allow me to use a dropper in technical terrain.
Again Stealth has provided my wife & I with a another great product. Mountain Panniers. Top workmanship as always, great color (teal), very good communication, & the size of the panniers is excellent for bikepacking. Thks
Bikepacking style bags are great, but when you need a bit more volume, or just want the ease of packing a pannier the Mountain Panniers are the go-to solution.
Made with bikepacking in mind these panniers are slim enough to squeeze through the narrowest of single-track, and with the Velcro attachment you will not have the dreaded rattle of hooks as you hurtle down the trail. With a generous 8L of volume per pannier (16L per set) these can provide enough capacity to head out on a lightweight overnighter, or combine with a Heaphy Harness or Pack Mule to create a full bikepacking setup.
The Mountain Panniers attach to the rack with two fixed upper straps and one adjustable lower strap. While this method may take a few more seconds to put on than traditional pannier hooks it creates a super secure attachment that won't bounce off.
