The new frame bag builder!
Share
Custom frame bags involve a lot of choices - bag shape, fabric colour, attachment style, zip layout, and a whole bunch of extra options. Until now you picked those options from a list on the product page, with a bunch of photos to reference the options and colours past customers picked. If the option or colour combination you wanted wasn't already photographed then it was up to your imagination to think about what it might look like.Â
That's never been ideal. If you're ordering a bike packing frame bag, you should be able to see roughly what you're getting before you commit. So I've added a frame bag visualiser to the product pages.

How it works
Prefer to watch a video? Scroll down to the bottom for a walkthrough process.
Start by choosing your frame style. The illustration redraws to match, and from there you work through the options on the page. Each time you change something, the illustration updates, so you can see the difference straight away. There are currently four illustrations for different frame shapes - Gravel, Hardtail/rigid MTB, Full Suspension - Horizontal shock, and Full Suspension - Vertical shock. Just choose the shape that best matches your frame, it doesn't need to be a perfect match.Â

Bag Shape
Your next choice is bag shape. Full Frame? Half frame? Curved or Parallel? A wedge maybe? Change through the options to get an idea of what you like the look of and would work best for your needs. These are only illustrations, so especially with the half frame and wedge bags, the actual bag you order may end up a different shape, but hopefully this gives you an idea.Â

Choosing Your Bag Layout
The next big choice is "Main Pockets". This determines the layout of your bag. You can select single zip/compartment, or double zip/compartment (where the bag shape allows it), on either the drive side or non drive side of the frame. If double zip/compartment is selected you can also select if you want the lower zip parallel to the top zip, angled, or leave it up to me to decide.Â

Next you can select the option for the "Zipped Flat Pocket". This is a pocket that is on the opposite side to your main compartment and is ideal for storing phones and other thin items. You may need to toggle between "Drive Side" and "Non-Drive Side" on the buttons at the top left of the illustration to see the pocket applied. In a double zip/compartment frame bag the depth of this pocket is determined where the divider is sewn in.

Colours
This is where it is your ideas can get crazy! You can select a single colour, or multicolour. Single colour has selectors for the side panel colour and the zip cover colours, while multicolour allows you to choose the colour for above top zip, main panel and below lower zip (where applied). Mix and match colours here to see what you can come up with!

Stitching colour can also be selected. Choose a contrasting colour for some stand out stitching, or matched to fabric for a clean look. Black is the standard offering here.Â

Extra Options
Here you can add those extra features that make your bag that little bit more useful. A H2O port for a bladder hose, a key clip so you aren't digging around in your bag all the time, some loops to hold your tent poles or a reflective strip so you can be seen safely. You can choose multiple options here so go wild!

Attachment Options
These are independent options chosen per frame tube, so you can select them in any combination, and the illustration shows what you've picked. Not all options are available for all bag shapes, for example there are limited options for seat tube attachments for wedge shape bags.Â

If bolt on is selected as an option then I may need to add an extra Camlock strap or two where needed if there isn't enough bolt on mounts to secure the bag firmly.Â
If lacing is selected as an attachment option then you can also select your lacing colour. A splash of colour here can really make a design pop.
Last but not least is the "Notes" section. I make every custom frame bag to order, so if you want something special or different just let me know - I'm happy to help.Â

Add to Cart!
You can now add your dream frame bag to the cart and proceed to the checkout. As always, feel free to get in touch if you have any questions.Â
Walkthrough Video
Remember, these are only illustrations, so fabric texture and exact colour will look a little different in person, and the shape and placement of things like zips and attachments will not be exactly as illustrated.
If you're not sure how something will turn out, or you want something that isn't on the page, send me a message and I'll tell you honestly what will work on your bike.
You can try the visualiser on the frame bag product pages. If you use it and something looks wrong or confusing, or you have ideas for other features you would like I'd love to hear from you.
